I bring warm, natural oak into your home – oak with noticeably more depth than a smooth floor. My natural tone creates a cosy, grounded atmosphere that feels equally at home in a country farmhouse and a contemporary residential loft. Daylight reflects off my hand-planed and brushed surface and gently brings it to life, while in the evening, under warm light, I become a cosy space for unwinding. I am a calm, characterful base on which your furniture and your ideas unfold in all their beauty.
Character
I am a masterfully refined version of Oak Alabama: additionally hand-planed, I reveal more structure and a sculpted, handcrafted surface appearance. DEF-grade planks have a lively texture with natural knots and a play of colour – honest and natural, never sterile. Brushing opens the pores of the wood and lends a warm feel to bare feet, while oiling reveals the natural oak tone in its most beautiful form. With my three-layer construction and 4 mm wear layer, I am built exceptionally sturdy: an investment that will serve you for decades, as I can be sanded and renewed several times.
Where it fits
As a characterful all-rounder, I feel at home anywhere: in the living room, bedroom, hallway or office – I suit every room you wish to give more depth. In the 190x1900 mm format and with a click system, I am laid quickly and simply. You can install me floating over underlay or, for the best result, glue me down across the full surface – then I can also be sanded later on. Naturally, I am suitable for underfloor heating as well.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m². When laying straight, allow a 10 % reserve for offcuts from cutting – that way you are on the safe side. As an oiled floor, I like to be pampered now and then with a suitable maintenance oil; in return, minor traces of everyday use can be repaired locally at any time, without treating the entire surface. With my sturdy 4 mm wear layer and masterful finishing, you receive oak quality built for decades.
