I am Oak Lucerne, and I bring calm and natural warmth into your space. I am an oak floor with a soft, even pattern that never demands attention — I simply let the room look tidy, cosy and elegant. My wide 190 mm planks visually broaden the room and give it a seamless, luxurious look. I suit both a light minimalist interior and a classic one.
Character
I am three-layer oak parquet with a genuine 3 mm oak top layer. My surface is brushed and oiled: brushing subtly brings out the natural texture of the wood, which you can feel with your fingertips, while the oil accentuates the natural colour of oak and lets the wood breathe. My ABC grading means a moderately lively pattern with natural knot tones and contrasts — neither too quiet nor too loud.
Where it fits
I am perfect for the living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway — anywhere you want the cosiness of natural wood. My plank dimensions are 1900 x 190 x 14 mm. Installation is simple thanks to the drop-down click system — the planks join without glue, so you can lay me yourself. I am suitable for water-based underfloor heating, although in that case gluing the planks to the subfloor is recommended.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m² of flooring, so when calculating quantities add around 10% extra for cutting and waste. Please note that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter planks — this is natural and helps to start and finish rows neatly. My 3 mm oak top layer is thick and allows me to be re-sanded in the future. Care for my oiled surface by refreshing the oil periodically — that way I will stay beautiful and resilient for many years.
