What this floor brings to your space
I bring dark, warm oak into your home, lending the space depth and cosiness. I feel best where plenty of daylight comes in, because my smooth, oiled surface catches the sun's rays and lets them glide gently across the floor. Against light walls and in sun-filled rooms a beautiful contrast forms, and only then do I truly come to life. In the evening, under warm light, I become a calm, welcoming foundation on which your interior unfolds beautifully.
Character
I am oak in a dark shade, and in the DEF grading group I show a lively, expressive figure with clearly visible knots and natural structures. My surface is smooth – this emphasises the dark tone and ensures that falling light is reflected especially evenly and nobly. The oiling deepens the colour and brings out the natural wood pattern without ever being intrusive. In a three-layer construction with a 4 mm top layer I am solid and durable – a floor made for many years.
Where it fits
I feel best in bright, sunny rooms, where my dark tone creates the most beautiful contrast – in the living room, bedroom or a light dining area. As a full-length plank in the 190x1900 mm format and with a click system I go down quickly and simply. You can lay me floating on underlay or, for the best result, glue me down over the full area – then, thanks to my 4 mm top layer, I can later be re-sanded once or twice. Naturally, I am also suitable for underfloor heating.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m². When laying in a straight pattern, allow a 10% reserve – that way you are on the safe side. As an oiled floor, I like to be pampered occasionally with a suitable care oil; in return, small traces of use can be repaired locally at any time, without treating the whole area. That way my dark oak will accompany you for a long time and keep its warm glow.
