What this floor brings to your space
I bring a natural, warm oak tone into your home, with no artificial effects whatsoever. I am Oak Bordeaux — a brushed and oiled plank with a 3 mm top layer of real oak: the clear oil lets the wood breathe, while brushing accentuates the grain pattern, which you will feel even under bare feet. My 1900 x 150 x 14 mm format looks calm and solid in a room — the 150 mm width lets the pattern unfold, while planks nearly two metres long visually lengthen the space. Bevels on all four sides gently accentuate each plank, so the floor looks as though it were laid from solid wood. If you are looking for a floor that creates cosiness rather than cold shine — that is exactly what I am.
Character
I am oak in rustic (Rustik) grading — the liveliest, most open character wood can have. In my planks you will find knots, colour transitions and the natural pattern oak grows all by itself, with no retouching. My brushed surface accentuates these details even further: the texture can be felt with your fingertips, while the clear oil preserves the natural, warm shade — the wood looks exactly as it truly is. The 3 mm top layer of oak means my character is genuine, not printed. If your interior calls for living, storytelling wood rather than sterile uniformity, my rustic pattern will become the room's focal point — looking slightly different every day, depending on the light that falls on it.
Where it fits
As a true all-rounder I feel at home anywhere: living room, bedroom, study or hallway. My natural, warm tone gets on with light Scandinavian interiors as well as with richer, classic colours — the rustic pattern brings cosiness everywhere. Thanks to the drop-down click (5G) joint I go down quickly and without glue: the plank is simply lowered into place and locks. I am also suitable for water-based underfloor heating — in that case it is recommended to glue me down to the subfloor so the heat is distributed evenly. If you are choosing a floor for a whole flat or house, my calm, natural tone will let the individual spaces flow together into one harmonious whole.
Worth knowing
Each of my packs contains 2.280 m². When calculating quantities, add a 10 % reserve for cutting offcuts to the room area straight away — that way you will certainly have enough planks both along the walls and around openings. I am an oiled floor, so my care is simple, but of its own kind: refresh the surface now and then with a maintenance oil, and small marks can be dealt with locally, without sanding the whole area — a great advantage of an oiled surface. I let myself be installed easily: the drop-down click system needs no glue or special tools, so you will typically lay a 20 m² room in about a day — a fitting job even for a confident DIYer.
