What this floor brings to your space
I bring a warm, dark tone into your home and instantly give the space depth and cosiness. I show my finest side in bright, sun-filled rooms: as light glides across my surface, the planed relief begins to play and my lightly smoked shade truly comes alive. By day I look noble and calm, and in the evening, under warm light, I turn into a snug, refined retreat. I am a powerful base against which your furniture and light accents stand out especially beautifully.
Character
I am dark oak in a wide-plank (Landhausdiele) format, lightly smoked and full of character. My DEF grading reveals a lively wood pattern with pronounced grain, visible knots and natural contrasts that lend the dark shade depth and authenticity. My planed surface catches the light wonderfully, while deep brushing makes it tangibly structured: underfoot you will feel the opened pores of the wood – noble, yet pleasantly cool and elegant. Oiling brings out the smoked tone in its most beautiful form. My three-layer construction with a 3 mm top (wear) layer is solid and built to serve for many years.
Where it fits
I feel best in bright, sun-filled rooms, where my dark tone and the play of light on the planed surface unfold in all their beauty – so in the living room, an open living-dining space or a spacious hallway. My 190x1900 mm format and click system make laying quick and simple. You can lay me floating on underlay or, for the best result, glue me down across the full surface – then the floor can later be sanded and refreshed as well. For underfloor heating I am, of course, suitable.
Worth knowing
One pack contains 2.888 m². When laying straight (conventionally), allow around 10% extra for offcuts – that keeps you on the safe side. As an oiled floor I will want to be pampered from time to time with a suitable maintenance oil; in return, small marks of everyday use can be repaired locally at any time, without treating the whole surface. That way I will remain a dark, characterful floor you will enjoy for many years.
