Description
Oak Delano 🌾 warm, natural oak with no tinting at all. The oil only deepens the wood's own colour, and the brushed surface opens the pores, so underfoot you feel timber rather than lacquer. Planks of 2200 × 190 mm with a 4 mm wear layer — a format that looks calm in a large room and keeps working for decades. Grade DE leaves abundant knots and colour contrasts right where they are ❤️

What this floor brings to your space
I am oak in the colour oak actually is — nothing bleached, nothing darkened. The oil simply deepens the natural honey tone and leaves it matt. A floor like this does not dictate the rest of the room: pale Scandinavian furniture suits me, and so does dark classic furniture — and I will not look dated in five years' time.
Character
Grade DE means a lively picture: knots, natural cracks, strong colour differences between planks. The cracks are filled with putty, so the surface is level while the figure stays anything but sterile. Brushing lifts the grain into relief and makes the floor warmer to the touch.
Where it fits
The long 2200 mm format creates fewer joins, so a large room reads as one continuous surface. I suit living rooms and open-plan spaces, and I work over water underfloor heating — in that case we recommend a glue-down installation.
Worth knowing
The 4 mm oak wear layer lets the floor be sanded and refreshed several times over its life. Natural, untinted oak darkens a little as the years pass — that is normal, and it happens evenly across the whole floor. Each pack holds 3.344 m².
