What this floor brings to your space
I bring a natural, warm oak tone into your home with no artificial effects — I am brushed and oiled, so my surface carries the true texture of the wood, which the oil accentuates rather than conceals. My planks — 1900 x 190 x 15 mm — are wide and long enough to make a room feel more spacious and serene, without the flicker of a busy small-scale pattern. On top I carry a 4 mm layer of real oak, so I am no imitation but genuine wood with all its warmth underfoot. If you are looking for a floor that looks natural and only grows more beautiful as it ages, I am worth choosing for my character alone — warm, earthy and understated.
Character
I am classic rustic oak (Rustik grading): in my figure you will find lively knots, natural colour transitions and the mood of real wood — no two planks repeat. The brushed surface opens up the wood's growth rings, so I am a pleasure not only to look at but to feel under bare feet. Natural oil keeps my tone warm and natural, with no gloss or hint of plastic — I look as though I had always been here. Small everyday marks do not jar the eye on me; they dissolve into the overall pattern, so I live with your home rather than against it. If you love a calm, earthy interior with character, my rustic temperament will be your ally, not a troublemaker.
Where it fits
A true all-rounder, I feel at home anywhere: in the living room, bedroom, study or hallway. The wide 190 mm plank unfolds most beautifully in more spacious rooms, but even in a smaller room I create a calm, unified foundation. I get on very well with water-based underfloor heating — I am suited to it; in that case it is simply recommended to glue me down to the subfloor so the heat spreads evenly. The only place better not to invite me is permanently wet areas such as the bathroom: as real wood, I am sensitive to excess moisture. Everywhere else my warm, natural tone suits both light Scandinavian and richer, cosier interiors.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m² of flooring. When calculating quantities, allow 10% on top of the room area for cutting waste — that way you will not run short of planks along walls and around openings. I go down easily: the drop-down click system lets the planks simply drop into place with no glue, so you can manage me yourself within a day. I am an oiled floor, so my care differs from lacquered floors: refresh me with maintenance oil from time to time, and small marks can be repaired locally without sanding the whole floor — one of the greatest advantages of an oiled surface. For everyday cleaning, dry mopping or a well-wrung damp mop and a cleaner made for oiled floors is all it takes.
