What this floor brings to your space
I bring into your home a natural, warm oak tone with the faintest shadow of smoke — I am lightly smoked, so my colour is deeper and calmer than that of fresh wood. My planks are long and wide — 1900 x 190 mm — so even in a smaller room I create a sense of unity and space: fewer joints, more living wood. The 3D-brushed surface accentuates the annual growth rings, and natural oil lets the wood breathe — you will want to feel me under bare feet. Light falls softly on me, without artificial gloss, so the room feels cosier and warmer at any time of day.
Character
I am rustic oak and make no secret of my nature: small knots, colour transitions and a pronounced grain figure are part of my character — two identical planks are a rarity with me. Light smoking gives me a calm, warm shade, and 3D brushing a lively, textured surface you sense not only with your eyes but with your feet. Four bevelled edges clearly separate each plank, so the floor looks sturdy and true. Natural oil does not seal the wood beneath a glossy coat — my glow is quiet and matt, and my 3 mm layer of oak lets me age gracefully along with your home.
Where it fits
A true all-rounder, I feel at home almost anywhere: in the living room, bedroom, dining room or home office. My natural, warm tone befriends contemporary minimalism as readily as classic or Scandinavian interiors — the rustic figure gives a space the life that plain walls often lack. I am 14 mm thick, so I align well with the height of other floor coverings as you pass from room to room. I am suitable for water-based underfloor heating: if warmth rises from below, it is recommended to glue me down to the subfloor — that way the heat transfers most evenly and the floor behaves calmly. The more natural the materials around me — wood, linen, stone — the better my character unfolds.
Worth knowing
Each of my packs contains 2.888 m². When calculating your area, allow 10% for cutting waste — especially if the room is irregular in shape or the planks are laid diagonally. I go down easily: the drop-down click system lets a plank simply drop and lock into place, so you can finish a 20 m² room in about a day. I am an oiled floor, so my care differs from lacquered floors: refresh me with maintenance oil from time to time, and small marks can be repaired locally without sanding the whole floor. For daily upkeep, dry cleaning or a well-wrung mop is enough — that way I will stay beautiful and natural for a long time.
