What this floor brings to your space
I bring light, warm oak into your home and visually expand the space without letting it feel cold. My friendly natural shade pushes the walls apart and turns every room into a cosy, inviting place. In daylight my deeply brushed surface reveals a lively depth, and in the evening, under warm light, I become a snug foundation for your interior. I give your furniture and ideas room to breathe, while I gladly stay in the background.
Character
I am the lighter sister of Oak Virginia — just as characterful, only in a friendlier shade. In my DE (Markant) grading I show lively texture and visible knots, yet remain harmonious and calm. Deep brushing opens the pores of the wood especially distinctly — this makes me not only sturdy and resilient in everyday life, but also gives walking barefoot a feeling reminiscent of a gentle foot massage. In a three-layer construction with a 4 mm wear (top) layer I am solidly built and can later be sanded several times — an investment that will serve you for decades.
Where it fits
As a light all-rounder I feel at home anywhere: in the living room, bedroom, hallway or office — I suit every room and make it look larger. In my 190x1900 mm format with a click system I go down quickly and easily. You can lay me floating on underlay or, for the best result, glue me down across the full surface — then I can later be sanded several times. For underfloor heating I am, of course, suitable.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m². When laying straight, allow 10% extra for cutting waste — that keeps you on the safe side. As an oiled floor I would like you to pamper me now and then with a suitable maintenance oil; in return, small traces of everyday use can be repaired locally at any time, without treating the whole surface. That way, with my thick 4 mm wear layer, I will remain your light, honest oak floor for many years to come.
