Description
Oak Hudson 🔥 smoked oak that never lost its warmth. Smoking deepens the tone from inside the timber — this is not paint sitting on the surface, so the shade cannot wear away. A brushed and oiled surface, grade EF with abundant knots, and cracks filled with black putty: a floor with real character, for anyone who finds pale floors a little empty ❤️

What this floor brings to your space
I bring depth into a room. Smoking works on the timber itself, not just its surface, so the tone looks rich and even rather than painted on. The room gains warmth and calm — the floor becomes a firm base against which pale furniture and textiles stand out.
Character
EF is the liveliest grading in this catalogue: abundant knots, natural cracks and strong colour differences from plank to plank. The cracks are filled with black putty, which looks entirely at home in smoked oak and draws the figure out further. If you are after an even, quiet surface, I am not the floor for you.
Where it fits
The 1900 × 190 mm format suits flats and houses alike, and the deeper tone pays off most in rooms with plenty of natural light. I am suitable for water underfloor heating; in that case we recommend gluing me down to the subfloor.
Worth knowing
Smoked oak can shift slightly in strong sunlight, so avoid leaving part of the floor covered by rugs or furniture for long stretches while the rest is exposed — the tone does even out again, but it takes time. The 3 mm oak wear layer means the floor can be sanded and refreshed. Each pack holds 2.888 m².
