What this floor brings to your space
I am Oak Innsbruck L, and I bring the warm character of natural oak and a true sense of space into your room. My wide 240 mm plank visually broadens the room and creates a calm, cosy atmosphere underfoot. In daylight my brushed surface plays subtly with texture, while in the evening the warm tone of the oil turns me into a true accent of homely comfort. I am a natural, characterful base on which your furniture and interior show themselves at their very best.
Character
I am genuine oak, made from European oak with a 3 mm top layer of solid oak. My DE grading means a lively, rustic wood pattern with pronounced knots, natural irregularities and a rich play of colour — honest and authentic, never sterile. My brushed surface opens the pores of the wood and feels pleasantly textured under bare feet, while natural oiling brings out the warm tone of oak in its most beautiful form. The thick 3 mm oak top layer means I can be sanded and renewed in the future.
Where it fits
With my wide 240 mm plank and natural character, I am perfect wherever you want space and warmth: in the living room, bedroom, hallway or kitchen area. My dimensions are 1900 x 240 x 14 mm. Thanks to the drop-down click system, installation is quick and simple: you can lay me floating on underlay or glue me down to the subfloor, which gives the most solid result and allows me to be sanded later. I am also suitable for water-based underfloor heating (in that case, glue-down installation is recommended).
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.736 m². When laying in a straight pattern, allow around 10% extra for cuts — that way you are on the safe side. Please note that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter planks. As an oiled surface, I like a little care with a suitable maintenance oil from time to time; in return, small traces of everyday use can be repaired locally, without treating the whole floor. With my 3 mm oak top layer, you get real wood that will serve you for many years.
