I am Oak Lausanne L, and I bring light and Scandinavian cosiness into your home. My white-oiled surface brightens the room and makes it feel visually more spacious, while my wide 240 mm plank creates a calm, seamless surface underfoot. I am a floor that makes every room lighter, softer and more inviting.
Character
I am natural European oak in EF (Country) grading — the liveliest of them all. In my planks you will see bold, contrasting wood patterns, knots, resin pockets and colour variations, so every plank is unique and full of character. My brushed surface brings out the natural texture of the wood, a pleasure to feel under bare feet, while white oiling gives me a soft, light tone and protects the wood without covering its natural beauty.
Where it fits
I am perfect for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces where light and naturalness are wanted. I am an engineered plank with a 3 mm oak top layer, and my drop-down click system lets you install me quickly and simply, floating, without glue. I am also suitable for water-based underfloor heating — in that case glue-down installation is recommended to ensure the best heat transfer.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.736 m², and my plank dimensions are 1900 x 240 x 14 mm. When planning quantities, add around 10% extra for cutting and offcuts; bear in mind that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter planks. My 3 mm oak top layer ensures longevity and allows me to be renewed if ever needed. Care for my oiled surface with suitable oil-based products and refresh the oil layer from time to time, so I stay beautiful for years to come.
