What this floor brings to your space
I turn your room into a spacious, calm stage on which my long XL format unfolds its full power. Wide, long planks make surfaces look broader and more seamless, especially in open living and dining areas. Daylight plays across my brushed surface and brings the natural oak to life, while in the evening, under warm light, I create a cosy, grounded atmosphere. I am the natural base against which your furniture and interior look entirely at home.
Character
I am a true manor plank of rustic oak — vibrant and expressive. In the DEF grading I show my natural shade openly: large knots and cracks are filled in brown, smaller ones in black, forming an authentic, characterful look without any prettifying. Brushing opens the wood's pores and gives a pleasantly natural feel for bare feet, while oiling lets the natural oak shade shine in its most beautiful form. In a 3-layer construction with a 4 mm top (wear) layer I am sturdy and long-lasting, sandable several times, which makes me an investment for decades.
Where it fits
With my wide, long format I unfold best in larger rooms from around 15 m² and in open living and dining areas. In the 260x2200 mm format and with a click system I am laid without difficulty. You can lay me floating on underlay or, for the best result, glue me down over the full area — then I can be sanded and renewed several times later. For underfloor heating I am, of course, suitable.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m². When laying straight, allow a 10 % reserve for cutting — that way you are on the safe side. As an oiled floor I would occasionally like to be pampered with a suitable maintenance oil; in return, small traces of use can be repaired spot by spot at any time without treating the whole surface. That way this characterful oak in a grand format will accompany you for many years.
