Description
Oak Manhattan 🤍 it looks like bare, untreated timber, but it is fully protected. Invisible oil adds no yellow at all — the oak stays as pale and as matt as it looks the moment it comes off the sander. A brushed surface, grade EF, cracks filled with black putty and a 3 mm oak wear layer. Clean, but never sterile ❤️

What this floor brings to your space
I look as though nobody has ever touched me. Ordinary oil warms oak a shade towards yellow; Invisible oil does not, so I keep the pale, almost raw-timber tone you see straight after sanding. The room reads brighter and more contemporary for it, and the wood loses none of its warmth.
Character
Grade EF leaves everything visible: abundant knots, natural cracks, colour differences between planks. The cracks are filled with black putty, and against a pale background they work as a graphic accent. Brushing opens the pores and adds a relief that a smooth plank simply would not have.
Where it fits
I belong in bright, minimal interiors and in smaller rooms where every bit of light counts. The 1900 × 190 mm format works just as well in rooms as in hallways. I am suitable for water underfloor heating — we recommend a glue-down installation.
Worth knowing
A very pale matt surface shows dust and footprints sooner than a dark one, so it is worth keeping a soft cloth and a cleaner made for oiled floors to hand. An oiled surface can be repaired in patches whenever it needs it. Each pack holds 2.888 m², and up to 25% of the planks in a batch are short ones.
