What this floor brings to your space
I bring dark, lightly smoked oak into your home and give the space a calm, noble depth. My wide XL planks turn large areas into open, seamless expanses — I unfold most beautifully where the room is flooded with plenty of daylight. In the sun my hand-planed, deeply brushed surface emerges vividly, and in the evening, in warm light, I become a noble, cosy foundation. I am a floor with character, on which your interior can look truly assured.
Character
I am a distinctive country-style plank with character: masterfully hand-planed and deeply brushed, I feel alive and natural beneath your feet — quite unlike smoothly sanded floors. In the DE grading I show lively oak texture and knots, yet I remain harmonious and never look restless. Light smoking gives my natural shade a dark, warm depth, and the oiled surface brings out these nuances especially beautifully. The three-layer construction with a 4 mm top wear layer makes me exceptionally sturdy — I can be re-sanded more than once over the decades. An investment that lasts.
Where it fits
With my 260 mm width I feel most at home in large spaces: spacious living rooms, open kitchen-living areas, bright old-town corridors or representative reception areas. In the 260x2200 mm format and with a click system I am straightforward to install. You can lay me floating on underlay or, for the best result, glue me down over the full surface — then, as a wide plank, I settle at my calmest and can be re-sanded at any time later. I am, of course, suitable for underfloor heating.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 3.432 m². For straight installation, allow 10 % for cutting losses — that way you are on the safe side. As an oiled floor, I like to be pampered now and then with a suitable maintenance oil; in return, small signs of use can be repaired locally at any time, without treating the entire surface. That is how you care for a hand-crafted oak plank that only grows more beautiful with the years.
