What this floor brings to your space
I am Oak Salzburg L, and I bring plenty of light, space and authentic wood character into your room. My wide 240 mm planks visually broaden the room and create a calm, unified foundation for your furniture and interior. My light shade, reminiscent of a raw-wood look, makes the space cosy and natural — by day I shimmer subtly in natural light, and in the evening I create a warm, calming mood. I am a floor for those who want the feeling underfoot to be alive and genuine.
Character
I am European oak in EF grading ("Country" class) — a very lively, expressive grade for those who love pronounced wood character. You will see a bold pattern, plenty of knots, colour contrasts and natural wood details, so every one of my planks is unique. My brushed surface opens the pores of the wood and feels pleasantly natural under bare feet, while my oil with its raw-wood-look effect accentuates the texture and creates a contemporary, bold rustic style. A sturdy core with a 3 mm oak top layer ensures my longevity and the option to renew me in the future.
Where it fits
Thanks to my lively character and light shade, I suit individual, daring interiors beautifully — the living room, bedroom, hallway or study. My wide XL planks come into their own especially well in more spacious rooms. Installation is simple thanks to my drop-down click system: you can lay my planks floating on a sound-insulating underlay. I am also suitable for water-based underfloor heating — in that case, gluing me down to the subfloor is recommended to ensure the best heat transfer and stability.
Worth knowing
One pack contains 2.736 m². When laying straight, plan around 10% extra for cutting — that way you can be sure you have enough material. Please note that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter planks. As I am an oiled floor, treat me occasionally to a suitable maintenance oil — that way minor traces of use can be refreshed locally without re-treating my whole surface. My 3 mm oak top layer allows me to be sanded and renewed in the future.
