I turn your space into a classic that never goes out of fashion. A herringbone pattern in natural oak colour is the highest class of floor artistry, equally at home in modern and classic interiors alike. The diagonal layout gives the room structure and visually widens it, while the natural shade radiates warmth and cosiness.
Character
My 122x610 mm blocks with tongue & groove are classic herringbone crafted to high standards. The oak's DE (Markant) grading reveals lively texture and natural knots that make the herringbone pattern authentic and full of life. The brushed and oiled surface is pleasant to touch and looks impressive. A special advantage is the 4 mm thick top oak layer in a three-layer construction, which allows the floor to be re-sanded more than once.
Where it fits
I am ideally suited to representative spaces: the living room, dining room, hallway or luxurious offices. As a tongue & groove herringbone parquet, I am glued down fully to the subfloor. Gluing is an essential condition for a clean pattern and optimal stability, and it also allows the floor to be fully re-sanded. Underfloor heating is no problem at all.
Worth knowing
One pack contains 0.432 m². When laying herringbone, be sure to allow 10–15 % for offcuts: the diagonal pattern requires more cutting. Thanks to the 4 mm top layer, I am a true investment — the floor can be re-sanded and re-oiled more than once. Herringbone installation is more complex, so it is best entrusted to a professional.
