What this floor brings to your space
I bring the warm, natural colour of oak into your home with no artificial tints – just clear oil and the living texture of the wood. I am Oak Trieste: planks 1900 mm long and 190 mm wide visually widen a space and lend it calm, while four-sided bevels clearly define each plank. My brushed surface opens up the natural grain of the wood, so the floor feels not like a covering but like real timber beneath your feet. My natural, warm tone pairs easily with both light and darker interiors – from Scandinavian minimalism to the classics.
Character
I am an oak of ABC grading – within me, calmer planks meet livelier ones with natural small knots and a play of colour. The combination looks natural and alive without overwhelming the eye: every plank has its own story, yet the whole remains harmonious. Brushing accentuates the relief of the grain, which you can feel even barefoot, while clear oil leaves a matt, authentic wooden surface – no gloss, no impression of plastic. A 3 mm oak top layer means my character is not just a picture: it is a genuine layer of wood that ages beautifully and only grows cosier over the years.
Where it fits
As a versatile oak I feel at home almost anywhere: in the living room, bedroom, study or hallway. A 14 mm thickness with a 3 mm oak layer gives me strength, and the drop-down click system lets you simply lower the planks into place – installation is straightforward even if you choose to do it yourself. I am also suitable for water-based underfloor heating: in that case, gluing me down to the subfloor is recommended so the heat spreads evenly. My natural, warm tone never clashes with any interior, so if you choose me for a whole flat or house, the different spaces will merge into one seamless whole.
Worth knowing
Each pack contains 2.888 m² – when calculating quantities, add a 10 % allowance to your room area for offcuts when cutting, especially if the spaces are not rectangular. I am an oiled floor, so my care differs from lacquered ones: refresh the surface occasionally with maintenance oil, and small marks can be repaired on the spot without sanding the whole area – that is precisely the convenience of an oiled surface. Clear oil preserves the natural, warm colour of the oak, and the brushed texture takes the everyday signs of life in its stride – they become part of my character rather than defects. If you choose me, you get a floor that is easy both to care for and to renew.
