I am Oak Verona, and I give your space classic elegance and natural warmth. My light-brown shade brightens the room and pairs easily with both contemporary and traditional interiors. My herringbone pattern creates a time-tested, rich floor aesthetic that becomes a true focal point of the room. I am a floor that never goes out of fashion.
Character
I am oak in ABC grading — a lively, natural pattern with visible knot marks and colour nuances that lend me character without ever overwhelming the room. My surface is brushed and oiled: the brushing brings out the natural texture of the wood, while the oil protects it and leaves a warm, matt finish. I am laid in a herringbone pattern and installed glue-down.
Where it fits
I am perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and other living spaces where a classic herringbone pattern is wanted. My blocks come in the 600 × 120 × 14 mm format and are joined with tongue & groove. Because I am laid in a herringbone pattern, I am glued to a properly prepared subfloor. I am suitable for installation over water-based underfloor heating — in this case glue-down is the recommended installation method.
Worth knowing
One pack contains 0.576 m², so when calculating material add around 10% extra for cuts and the ends of the herringbone pattern. Bear in mind that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter blocks — this is typical of herringbone. My 3 mm oak top layer allows me to be renewed when needed. Care for my oiled surface gently: clean with a damp cloth without aggressive cleaners and refresh me periodically with maintenance oil so the wood stays rich and resilient.
