Character
This is natural European oak with ABC grading — a fairly calm, even pattern with moderate knot and colour accents that add life without overloading the look. The brushed surface opens the pores of the wood and highlights the natural oak structure, pleasant to the touch of bare feet, while the natural oiling brings out the true tone of the wood and gives a matt, warm surface. The thick 4 mm oak top layer is exceptionally robust — it can be sanded and renewed several times, so the floor will serve for decades.
Where it fits
This floor is perfect for spacious living areas — living rooms, dining rooms, hallways or prestigious offices, where the large format shows at its best. It is installed with a tongue & groove system, gluing the planks down to the subfloor — this ensures maximum stability and longevity, which is especially important for such a wide format. The floor is also suitable for water-based underfloor heating when installed glue-down, so your home will be not only beautiful but also cosy underfoot.
Worth knowing
One pack contains 1.760 m². When calculating quantities add around 10% as a cutting reserve — that way you can be sure you will have enough material. Note that a batch may contain up to 16% shorter planks, which is natural for this product. As the surface is oiled, pamper the floor occasionally with a suitable care oil — then small traces of use can be repaired locally, without treating the entire surface. The thick 4 mm top layer allows the floor to be sanded several times, making it an investment for many years.
