Stone-effect vinyl settles an old dilemma: you want the look of concrete or stone without the cold, hard feel of ceramic tiles. A stone-look vinyl floor is warmer underfoot, quieter, and goes down without mortar or tile cutting — and it renders a matt concrete or honed-stone surface so faithfully you will only spot the difference up close. The catalogue currently holds 7 stone- and concrete-effect designs, with vinyl prices starting at 16,95 €/m², VAT included.

There are two constructions. Click SPC planks have a rigid mineral core, built-in underlay and a thickness of about 5–5,5 mm (wear layer around 0,5 mm); they lock together without adhesive. Glue-down LVT is 2–3 mm thick and bonded across its full area to a levelled subfloor — useful wherever floor height is at a premium. Both are 100 % waterproof, so they suit kitchens and bathrooms, and usage class 23/33 on some products clears them for commercial spaces too. The practical differences are laid out in our article SPC or LVT vinyl.

Not yet sure a stone look is right for your rooms? Answer the five questions in the floor finder to narrow the choice. Once decided, size the order with the m² calculator: the minimum flooring order is 20 m², so it pays to count precisely from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Can stone-effect vinyl replace tiles in a bathroom or kitchen?
It can — both click SPC and glue-down LVT are 100 % waterproof, so they suit wet rooms. Unlike ceramic, vinyl is not cold underfoot, and installation needs no mortar or tile cutting. A full side-by-side of the two floors is in our article tiles or vinyl.
Click SPC or glue-down LVT for a stone look?
Click SPC is the easier DIY route: planks lock together, the underlay is built in, and overall thickness is about 5–5,5 mm. Glue-down LVT is just 2–3 mm thick, so it suits spots where the floor level cannot rise, but it demands a perfectly levelled subfloor. Some click products state a wear layer of around 0,5 mm and usage class 23/33 — worth checking if the floor will work hard.
Does stone-effect vinyl suit underfloor heating?
Yes — and that is one of the commonest reasons to choose it over tiles. Check the specification on the individual product page before ordering. The practical points of installation over heated floors are in our article on vinyl for heated floors.
How many m² should I order, and how quickly do you deliver?
Work out the quantity with the m² calculator — the minimum flooring order is 20 m² (samples are exempt). We deliver across the EU within 5–10 working days; delivery costs 129.95 € and is free from 2 000 €. Before ordering you can choose up to 3 free vinyl samples on the samples page.
