Dark oak boards

The catalogue holds 19 dark designs in three-layer European oak. A dark tone draws a crisp contrast with pale walls and furniture, which is why it is usually chosen for generous living rooms and studies with good natural light. Formats run from 610×122 to 2200×260 mm, overall thickness is 13.3–15 mm, and the oak top layer is 2.7 to 4 mm — so the floor can be sanded and renewed in years to come. With a dark floor, the finish matters most. Dust and fine scratches show more readily on a dark surface than on a natural tone, which makes oiled boards the more practical choice — a damaged patch can be renewed locally, no full-floor sanding required. The boards install by click system or glue-down; over water-based underfloor heating we recommend gluing.
